You know me and my multitasking obsession? If a product can do more than one thing, I’m sold. And if it does those things really well, then it’s a no brainer.
I’ve long been a fan of the Perricone No Foundation Foundation for a simple, quick and natural yet luminous makeup. Now available in two shades, (I have the lighter shade), it’s perfect for me in the winter months, and in the summer I’ll use it as a base for foundation, almost like a primer. I love the colour with (skin)care concept; if I’m applying something to my face that’s going to be on my skin all day, it might as well do some good while it’s there, right?
So the launch of the the Perricone MD No Makeup Makeup had me understandably excited and I’m pleased to tell you that it totally lives up to all expectations.
In keeping with the theme, there is the No Blush Blush, No Bronzer Bronzer, No Lipstick Lipstick… you get the general idea.
I have the Blush, Bronzer and Mascara and I’m in love with all three. Easy to apply with fingers, the No Bronzer Bronzer and No Blush Blush impart a healthy flush of colour to the skin, have a mineral SPF30 to protect the skin and literally become at one with the skin to lift the skin and leave it looking healthy, glowy and plumped from within. I’m also using the No Bronzer Bronzer to customise my No Foundation Foundation, which I only have in the lighter shade, although I sense a purchase of Shade 2 coming on soon!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the No Mascara Mascara, given that Perricone is traditionally known for its skincare. But there was no need to worry. Super black, coating each and every lash without clumping, even on the second and third coat and with a dual- fibre brush that literally grips the lash hairs to ensure they are lengthened and curled, this is a current favourite. Add to that it’s a lash treatment with biotin and neuropeptides and we’re back in multitasking territory.
And that’s a place I’m very happy to be in!
