I’m Ambarina, the face behind Beauty with Backbone. I’m a beauty expert with 30 years of writing about beauty and a qualified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach. I’m also a busy mom of three and I’ve been been writing about all things beauty, health and style for longer than I care to remember. Skincare and shoes get me super excited, and a new highlighter will have me squealing with delight! 

I encourage a 360* approach to ageing well, combining fitness, health, skincare, haircare makeup and everything else that can help you to feel the best and most beautiful version of yourself.

I started this blog as a place to talk about all the fab beauty bits I come across every day and over time it grew to be in the finals of the Marie Claire Blogger Awards for Best Beauty Blog.

Some of the publications I’ve written for include the BBC Asian Network website, Asian Woman and Libas magazines, and I’ve also done some TV presenting (which I loved doing!) and radio broadcasting too 🙂
