Not to be jumping on the Cara Delavigne brow bandwagon or anything, but I’ve long been a lover of the stronger brow. Blame my obsession fascination with Audrey Hepburn and the other screen icons of the time with their face-framing brows. Or you could blame my paternal grandmother, who made me promise her, when I was a mere seven tender years old and not a clue what she was talking about, that I would never touch my eyebrows. Because of her, I’ve never been a teenage plucker. Exhibit A: my eyebrows, aged three and three quarters:
So today, all I do is fill in the gaps and try to brush them into submission, with a trip to the threaders maybe once a year (if I can be bothered!). Currently my two faves to fill in and define the brows both happen to be from American brow specialist, Anastasia Soare, and as much as I’ve tried out so many other fabulous brands, I’m going to go out on a limb and say these are my two all time favourites! In fact, I’m not quite sure how I (or any of us) lived without the second one!
Anastasia Brow Wiz – With the tiniest, finest, sharpest point possible, you can literally draw in individual hairs where you might be lacking, shape the tail-end and and outline the whole brow for extreme definition. Why, oh why did I wait so long to buy this?
Anastasia DipBrow Pomade – quite possibly the best thing for brows since… well, brows! Using a sharp angled brush, this is newest addition to the range is perfect for filling in the gaps, with a colour match that’s so natural there’s no scouse brow going on here. It’s waterproof, smudgeproof and I’ve even used it as a bullet-proof eyeliner and it worked beautifully! I use it with the mini-brush I already have that came with a previous Anastasia brow kit (you can get a similar one here) but if you fancy just buying the brush on it’s own, full size, that’s here).
If you’re my colouring, my perfect match is the Brow Wiz in Chocolate and the DipBrow Pomade in Chocolate. Try them – I promise you’ll never look back. If you fancy it, leave me a comment below and I’ll film you a little tutorial on how I use these two beauties.

I’ve been debating buying both these products for ages but I’m always worried I’ll pick up the wrong shade for my brows! Bit of a problem being bleach blonde with dark brows really! I’m definitely too dark for the blonde, and I thought maybe even the chocolate but on your swatch it seems about the right shade so thanks for a nudge in the right direction! Lovely review, and lovely blog! Xxx

Hi Katie!
The chocolate shade is a great cover all sins shade! It’s slightly lighter than my brows, but matches my (head) hair perfectly. Hope you find your perfect shade.
