Christmas Giveaway: Violet Pearl Candles



Candles are perfect for lifting the spirit, changing the mood and creating an atmosphere quite unlike any thing else. Not only is that glorious, mesmerising flickering light just about the most flattering you can imagine, but the scent of a well made candle transports the senses to another time and place.


So I’m so pleased to bring you my latest discovery and my second pre-Christmas Giveaway (you can find the first here). Violet Pearl is a new brand of luxurious candles; six tempting fragrances named after the iconically glamourous films of the 1990’s including True Romance, American Beauty and Scent of A Woman. The heady scents include the finest essential oils such as White Gardenia, Jasmine and Cedar Wood (American Beauty), Rosemary & Bergamot (Lolita), Vetiver, Basil & Lavender (Boogie Nights), Mediterreanean Verbena, Geranium and Lemon (Scent Of A Woman), Tuberose and Ylang Ylang (Heat) and Orange, Cedarwood and Clove (True Romance). They smell divine when used alone, but even better, cocktail the scents, burning two or more together to create a unique scent of your own.



Each candle is handmade in England from certified vegan ingredients, made from renewable sources and contain no nasty unnecessary chemicals. They burn for around 50 hours, and I can’t wait to use my empty black glass jar as a stylish brush holder to sit perfectly alongside my Diptyque jars. They cost £28 each, but I have two candles to giveaway to two lucky readers.
