An invitation to a Summer Solstice party had us all a fluster! Why, you may well ask? Well, when I tell you that the dress code was “Pure White” I think you’ll imagine the consternation.
After much searching of the summer sales (and the full price racks too – when you’re dressing in total and utter whiteness you can’t take any chances) I happened upon this lovely little number from Herve Leger, the king of body-con and purveyor of the original bandage dress.
The prospect of wearing white shoes was just one step too far, so I compromised and wore a pair of vertiginous animal print heels from Marni. And when the temperature dropped, I popped a little faux sheepskin bolero over my shoulder to watch the sunrise in all its glory.
Sorry I don’t have better shots than these – we were far too busy having a good time to worry about taking loads of photos!
