IN THE PINK OF IT… LET’S TALK DAY 3 | MARCH 25TH

You'd think that when we know that food is difficult to find in the shops and that we aren't going out to buy food until it's completely and utterly necessary, that I would be eating smaller portions to make it all last longer. Add to that the fact that we can't go to the gym, you'd think I'd make a conscious effort to eat healthier and more consciously. Major fail.

EXTRAORDINARY TIMES… LET’S TALK…

We've been home and in a kind of self-made self-isolation for just over a week now, but today is the first day that schools are closed and our imagined norm is now a new reality... As "staying is the new going out", for Mother's Day lunch yesterday, IF we had gone out, I would have been shopping my own wardrobe as I’m trying to buy as little as possible this month... I thought #FrugalFebruary was over but with the current uncertainty, who knows how long this will last? And in what shape the economy will be when we come out the other side?

WORKING FROM HOME – THE NEW NORMAL

For so many of you who've never had to work from home before, this is going to be your new norm for the foreseeable future and I know it'll take some adjusting to. I've been working from home for over a decade, as a PR consultant, freelance beauty and lifestyle writer and editor and more recently, as a content creator and influencer. Always juggling it with family life (three kids, two cats and a husband) and an extended family that all lives close by.
