I always love it when I’m surprised by a brand. Crabtree & Evelyn isn’t a name I would normally think of when contemplating a new nail colour, but that’s all changed now that I’ve tried their gorgeous collection of Spring shades for nails.
I’m wearing Lilac, a beautiful, wearable shade, the perfect shade of lilac, just as the name suggests. It’s so feminine without being overtly girly and has just the right tones in it to really lift the hands and enliven sallow looking skin that’s desperate for some summer sun!
The brush makes for super-easy application, the formula is self-correcting (always a bonus when you’re doing your nails in a hurry) and it’s super glossy before you’ve even gone in with a top coat. At only £6 each, these are seriously good value for money.
The other shades (from left to right) are Azalea, a blue-toned pink, Peaches & Cream, a gorgeous light peachy nude with just a hint of a shimmer, Poppy, a perfect coral with elements of pink and orange that would suit every skin tone, Almond, a classic pale beige nude that makes for the perfect neutral and Mint, a light blue (not shown).
Definitely worth investigating if you haven’t tried them already!
