Sunday’s are normally the day that I have a bit more time to try out new skincare and today’s little foray has been into a new cleanser and cleansing sponge.
You all know my love for Omorovicza (and recently my husband has been getting his mitts onto my skincare, including my Queen of Hungary Mist!) so I was super-excited to try the new Hydra-Melting Cleanser. Super creamy, this 3-phase green gel-like cream melts beautifully into an oil on the skin, removing all dirt, grime and makeup, emulsifies into a milky cream with the addition of water, and rinses away easily without the need for the hot damp cloth. Perfect for the morning cleanse, it’s so refreshing without stripping the skin, thanks to the hydrating mallow flower extract, while the evening primrose oil nourishes and brightens.
I’ve been using this with my new Spa to You Natural Konjac Sponge to double up on the exfoliating and deep cleansing properties of the cleanser. I love that this sponge is 100% natural, biodegradable and pH balanced for the skin – it’s literally like using my fingers but better! I can use it on its own, without cleanser too, to smooth skin and refine pores. Prepared pretty much like a BeautyBlender, I soak the sponge in water for a few minutes and squeeze out the excess before using circular motions on the skin. There are no preservatives, so it needs replacing every 2-3 weeks but I kinda like the hygienic aspect of that.
