If you’re a regular on my YouTube channel (click here to see what you’re missing!) you will know that there are a couple of lipliners that are my staple when it comes to the perfect nude lip. Namely, Chantecaille in Tone and Effect. Time and time again, these are the ones I turn to – when it doubt, they always do the job beautifully.
But at £21 a pop, they’re not necessarily in everyone’s price bracket. So say a big welcome to the W7 Lip Twisters from W7. These two shades, a nude-ish brown and a deeper, reddish brown are the perfect dupes for Chantecaille’s offering. At only around £3 each (cheaper if you shop around, I’m sure I saw them online for £1.49 each), they are infinitely more affordable and give you the same effect.
And I mention that they twist up too? So they are forever sharp and ready to use – I wish all makeup pencils and crayons were made this way…sigh!
I can’t actually give you the shade names as they aren’t written on the lipliners, but the ones I’m using are true to the colours in the photos here, and are the perfect nude shades for Indian skin tones.
