‘Don’t believe the hype’ is my normal stance for over-hyped launches. In my experience, if something sounds too good to be true, it quite often is. So it was with some cynicism that I slapped on the latest greatest thing in skincare on my face. A month down the line, and I’m obsessed.
Cult 51 has the beauty world buzzing and looking at my skin, even in my unforgiving magnifying mirror, I can see why. My pores have visibly diminished, my skin looks radiant, plumper and generally much younger. I’ve lost count of the number of times the husband has commented on how young I’m looking these days and today, someone actually thought I was around 21 years old (he probably needs to get himself down to the opticians for an eye test, but still, it was nice to hear!)
If you haven’t heard about it, that’ll be because there’s been no advertising or conventional marketing around it; just word of mouth amongst those in the know.
It’s not cheap at around £125, but the results are plain to see. It’s a one-size-fits-all cream that replaces your current night cream, serum and eye cream so you’re not spending on those products. It helps to prevent hyper-pigmentation and the production of melanin (think age spots), deeply hydrates, nourishes and moisturises, prevents inflammation, soothes irritation…the list goes on. Within 6 weeks, clinical trial have shown over 50% reduction in wrinkles which is really impressive!
It also means I can (in theory) reduce the skincare clutter that’s currently taking over my bathroom – but given I’m such a hoarder, that’s not likely to happen soon!
Have any of you tried this yet? Are you as obsessed with it as I am? I’d love to know!
