Give a girl a good hair day and she can conquer the world…or something like that. So when I find products that help me in my quest for world domination, I’m one very happy bunny.
Last week I posted ⌃⌃this⌃⌃ photograph on my Instagram account and I had so many lovely comments from you all that I felt I had to let you in on my newest and latest hair obsession. You all know how much I already love Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer and the Remoisturing Shampoo and Conditioner are always on repurchase mode. But recently, I was lucky enough to try out some of the other products from the range and I’m happy to say I am seriously happy with the results.
My fine hair was given some serious oomph with the Philip Kingsley Body Building Shampoo. Formulated for fine, limp or flyaway hair, my barnet was a definite contender – I tick two of the three boxes! I followed this with the Philip Kingsley Moisture Balancing Conditioner to seriously hydrate my wavy, dry hair and moisturise my dry, frizzy ends. My hair felt thicker, softer and seriously healthy.
I decided to dabble in the Philip Kingsley styling products for the first time and again, can I say, seriously impressed. The Daily Damage Defence Spray is a heat protect conditioning spray that’s quite a multitasker. It detangles, adds shine, decreases static and adds elasticity – I can’t wait to see the results when I use this in conjunction with my Elasticizer! For some extra volume, I used the Maximiser on my roots to give me some Friday night volume, body and bounce.
Not only was my hair not the usual frizz-ball it normally is when I DIY blow-dry, it also lasted the whole night, and the following two days too! Not bad, even if I say so myself!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Philip Kingsley, his ethos and his products, so when he launches something new, you can bet I’ll sit up and take notice. So I’m also trying out the new Trichotherapy system for my hair – billed as the ‘ultimate hair and scalp regime’ for fine and thinning hair (tick and tick again!), it comprises a daily supplement and two sprays; one volumizing protein spray and one hair & scalp treatment. I’ll report back soon but with 64% of women reporting hair that looks and feels fuller after just weeks in a blind trial, I have high hopes!
