Currently Obsessed #13: Darphin

Darphin Marie Reynolds Candle

A while back, I was asked to take part in a Google Hangout with Darphin, Look Fantastic and three other bloggers to talk all things skincare. Of course, to be able to talk about Dauphin, I needed to try the products, so those lovely people at Look Fantastic sent over a selection for me to use.

Marie Reynolds Candle Darphin Hydrating Skincare

Fast forward three weeks and I’m every so slightly obsessed with this all-natural Parisian skincare range. The Azahar Cleansing Micellar Water for Face, Eyes and Lips smells deliciously floral and cleanses ever so gently. I’d say it’s not the best at removing eye makeup – I’ve had to go over the eyes with a separate eye makeup remover as it does tend to leave behind residue, but for the face and lips – yes sir! After spritzing with a hydrating toner, I apply a couple of pumps of the Intensive Hydrating Serum – it’s super light yet incredibly hydrating and I can literally feel it plumping up my skin cells. I’ll follow this with a couple of pumps of the frankly quite amazing Revitalising Oil for Face, Body and Hair. Let’s just say this is where my obsession peaks. This elegant little bottle literally holds the key to amazing skin. Just two pumps is enough for the face, neck and décolletage. I’ll rub the oil in the palm of my hands to warm it up, inhale deeply to make the most of the addictive aroma and pat it into the skin (avoiding my eyes). My skin literally glows, looks radiant and smooth. I’ll follow this with the Hydraskin Light All-Day Skin-Hydrating Cream Gel to moisturise and my face is ready for the day – whether I use makeup or not, my skin looks healthy, revitalized and glowing.

And can I just come back to that oil? When used on the hair after blow-dry – well, it’s just obsession all over again. My hair looks silkier, softer, shinier, moves with me, accentuates my layers and smells gorgeous. What more do I need?

It’s not often that I stick to one brand of skincare for any length of time without straying over to something new (I think the last time was way back when I tried the Environ products for two months), but this range has just got me hooked.
