Anti-Ageing STUDIO | 10 & GIVEAWAY

Studio 10 Visible Lift Face Definer Giveaway

I’m a huge believer in natural beauty. I’ve yet to succumb to the Botox-brigade, (but never say never and all that),  but if there’s something that’s going to give me the look of the taut, sculpted, radiant face of my early twenties without resorting to needle and scalpel, then I’m all over it. Studio | 10, you most certainly have my full attention.

A compact range of 8 products (along with some very covetable brushes) the range comes from beauty industry insider Grace Fodor, one of the brains behind the erstwhile Jemma Kidd makeup range, along with some heavyweight dermatologists. So you know there is some serious pedigree behind the products.

Studio 10 Anti-Ageing Collection

This is not just anti-ageing (although there is plumping hyaluronic acid, tightening, firming Suberlift and toning and smoothing Nyamplung Oil in most of the products). No, this goes one stage further. This, my loves, is age-correcting makeup, designed to disguise cover and correct the very signs of ageing. Super lightweight foundation, the Age Reverse Perfect Canvas colour adjusts, reflects light, is buildable and best of all, the two shades in the compact allow for gentle contouring and customisation as your skin shade changes with the seasons. But what if you’re already all set with your existing foundation? Well the next two products are literally going to blow you away. Age Defy Skin Perfector is a perfect little palette containing all you need to correct, conceal, cover up and generally perfect all those little niggles like dark circles, pigmentation, redness…yes, you know what I’m talking about! The primer puts paid to fine lines and enlarged pores, the peach and green colour correctors balance out blueness and redness while the two concealer shades can be blended for your perfect shade. Visible Lift I-Definer is a neutral eyeshadow lover’s dream – all the shades you need to accentuate, define and brighten the eyes, without looking like you’re wearing makeup. I wish I’d had this when I filmed  my No Makeup Makeup Tutorial.

And now, ta-dah! My favourite, and in my eyes, the hero product! The Visible Lift Face Definer is literally a facelift in a palette. (GIVEAWAY ALERT! – Check out the details at the end). The perfect contouring shade (even for brown skinned gals like me), perfect to sculpt in some much needed cheekbones, a sheer creme blusher that adds just the right level of colour, sheen and radiance, and a luminizing highlighter to accentuate the top of the cheekbones. Cheekbones I haven’t seen for at least a couple of years, so my love for this little kit is boundless as you can imagine.

Studio 10 Before & After Collage

And my second must-have from the range? It has to be the Youth Lift Glow-Plexion – if I could have this in vats, I would. This beautiful cream imparts the most alluring radiance to the skin – so pretty in fact, I’d wear it without foundation and feel skin-confident! And come the summer, it’s going to look so sexy highlighting collarbones, shoulder, shins…. oooh, just everywhere!

Studio 10 Beauty lip pencil eye pencil brow pencil

Some very well thought out pencils including one for brows and 5 intensely pigmented, stay-put (and I mean, stay-put!) eyeliner shades, all dual ended with complimentary highlighting shades (it’s all about the sculpting gals), but the other stand out for me is the Age Reverse Perfecting Lipliner. The natural lip shade is literally the my-lips-but-better holy-grail. I can’t get enough of this – all over the lips, a little colourless lip balm and I’m set. The nude liner at the other end is perfect for sculpting out a very flirty pout; use it to outline the lips (except under the centre lower lips).

It’s all so very easy to use, but in case you’re a makeup newbie or just a little nervous about sculpting and contouring, the website has videos galore to show you how – and while you’re there, check out the brushes – that foundation brush has got it going on! I was lucky enough to meet Mark Cook, International Make-up Artist, at the launch, who literally transformed my face from rather bleugh-looking to something even I couldn’t stop staring at, all in a matter of minutes. It’s all over on the Studio | 10 website here, where it will tell you the range is aimed at women aged 35+, but quite frankly, there’s not many faces that wouldn’t benefit from a bit of correct, perfect and sculpt, no?

xXx
