Chanel nail varnishes are a little bit of a weakness. No matter what I do, I just can’t resist. There’s no “just walk past and ignore the display” when it comes to their nail colours. There’s something about them that just draws me in. Fracas is one I “acquired” at the beginning of Spring, and I’m still wearing it now, despite have bought a few others since. It’s a lovely “quick, the sun is shining” kinda colour, lighter and pinker than the more recently released Lilis and just as wearable in these glorious English summer days we’re having. (You’ll hear no complaints about being too hot over here).
It goes on beautifully (I’m sure CHANEL has improved the brushes – anyone know?) and with a good base and tip coat (I’ve lost count of how many bottle of Seche Base and Seche Vite I’ve been through) it’s lasted a good six days without a chip or any tip wear – not bad for a CHANEL nail polish!
Terribly girlie, I know. I need to toughen it up with some blues or greens – any suggestions for me?
