The Tools: ECO Foundation Buffing Brush… amongst others!

The arrival of a new foundation brush here at Beauty Passionista always results in little squeals of anticipation and delight. Is this the one that will give me that lusted-after airbrushed finish? Will I look like a supermodel if I use that one? Or is it going to shed hairs all over my face?

For quite a while now, nothing much has matched or bettered the Buffing Brush from Real Techniques. In fact, I love it so much that I bought a whole set from the brand to giveaway a short while ago (which reminds me, I need to do another giveaway soon!)

But just recently, another hairy beast has been trying to wrestle its way onto my foundation brush roster, and he’s a strong contender. ECO Tools Custom Coverage Buffing Brush has been my go-to this past week, sweeping on foundation like a breeze, leaving my skin looking radiant, dewy and even-toned, no matter the foundation used on any given day.

The flatness of the brush means it’s easy to dot the foundation all over the face before buffing it in, ensuring that I have even coverage all over. It’s super soft, doesn’t poke or smart my skin and is easy to clean.

If you haven’t heard of ECO Tools, they’re worth checking out. These “earth-friendly” brushes all feature beautiful bamboo handles, recycled aluminium and synthetic Taklon and best of all, are 100% cruelty-free. So you can make up with a clear conscience.

I’ve also got the newly launched Foam Applicator which is meant to be perfect for applying liquid foundation in those hard-to-reach contours around the face which I’ll be giving a try – I’ll report back soon.

But for now, the ECO Tools Buffing Brush has definitely snuggled its way into a permanent place in my foundation brush collection.

By the way, does anyone REALLY need as many foundation brushes as this? I’m slightly embarrassed!

xXx
