If you’re an avid Francophile, (or an avid reader of beauty blogs) you’ll already know just about everything there is to know about Bioderma. Till now, a French drugstore brand that has beauty insiders stocking up in multiples on any trip across the channel, UK skincare mavens can breathe a sigh of relief as Bioderma is now available in the UK. Granted, you won’t find each and every product on the shelves on this side of the water, but you will be able to get your mitts on the cult product Crealine H20 Micellar Solution, which is named just plain ole’ Sensibio H20 for us Brits (and actually, for anywhere else apart from France).

If you don’t already know all about Bioderma, the brand focusses on “biology at the service of dermatology”, focussing on high performance and result-driven products. They were the first to pioneer the now-popular Micellar Water category, which still proves to be their most popular product – apparently, one is sold every 6 seconds!

There’ll be five skincare ranges in the UK: Sensibio for senstive skin, Atoderm for dry and atopic skin, Hydrobio for dehydrated skin, Sebium for oily/combination skin and Photoderm, the sun care line.

If this tickles your fancy, it’s all available from independent pharmacies around the country including John Bell & Croyden in London and Escentual online, and prices are really very reasonable; the Micellar Water Sensibio is around £9.99 for a rather large 250ml bottle.

I’m trying out the two* you see above, along with the pore refining Corrective Concentrate*, which I’m finding works really well as a pre-foundation primer!

Are you a très huge fan of Bioderma? Which other products should I check out from the range? Should I be booking my Eurostar ticket right now, mes cheries?
