The Nails: Revlon Brilliant Strength

The sun is very definitely doing its level best today to brighten up our day, so I thought I’d better do my bit to give it all the encouragement I can. This sunny colour comes from Revlon’s Brilliant Strength Collection, called Intrigue. It’s a beautiful sky blue with a slight sheen (the photos are taken without top coat so that you can see the finish that you get from the nail varnish itself) that goes on easily with no streaking. The best bit is the brush; it’s flattish, rather like the Dior brushes, so that application is a doodle – literally two stroked per nail and you’re done! The formula actually contains built-in base and top coat, so with just one coat, you’re good to go! These photos are taken with two coats, which just makes the colour all the more intense. And the other shade is…

The other colour I have from the range is the rather less summery Dominate – a deep sultry so-brown-it-hurts that would nevertheless be perfect for hot summer nights – I’ll put up photos soon when I wear this one.

Have you tried the Revlon Brilliant Strength shades?
