I do love a little bit of glitter on the nails, but boy, is it a pain to remove! So painting just the nail on the ring finger on both hands with some glitter – the sweeping trend of the year – serves me well, as it is only one nail I’m battling with come the time to remove and change the nail varnish.
As ever, OPI’s collections for next Spring are ‘spot’ on. These two shades are from the Euro Central S/S13 collection, and I think they go very well together. The blue shade is an intense royal blue called OPI…Eurso Euro* which definitely needs two coats, but once you’ve got those two coats down, it’s perfect. The glitter shade on the ring finger is Polka.Com*, a clear varnish with two sizes of glitter suspended in it (shown above) – tiny little particles of dark glitter and little hexagonal sequin-style glitters in pink and turquoise, that I imagine would work equally as well over pink varnish as it does with this royal blue.
The full collection, which is out next Spring, has just about something for everyone, including lilac, coral, burnt gold and a beautiful buff cream shade.
There’s also the new collaboration with Mariah Carey, which will be available at the same time – I tried (and fell in love with) the Liquid Matte Sand formulation in blue, which you can read about HERE.
I’m a bit of a magpie when it comes to nail varnishes, so I know I’ll be stocking up on a few when the time comes…. any taking your fancy?
