Sharp cheekbones, a healthy Autumnal flush on the cheeks and a fresh dewy look – just some of the holy grails I lust after when it comes to my cheeks. So this latest launch from Benefit has gone to the top of my list of facial attire as it ticks all the boxes and more.  It’s basically a shot of gentle colour and highlighter in one for cheeks and lips which you can use for a really lit-from-within look or build it up for a real hit of colour.

The three shades are perfect for a natural glow when blended together – I use fingers for speed and ease of application – and I love using the colours separately – again with fingers or sometimes with a brush for more precision – for different effects.

It’s so easy to use, you could almost use it on the run without a mirror, although I know most of you wouldn’t leave the house without a mirrored compact in your bag 🙂

The lightest pink champagne colour is perfect for highlighting the cheekbones and also, the all-important cupid’s bow to really make the most of the lips.

It’s not really glossy enough for me to wear alone on the lips but paired with a translucent or very lightly coloured gloss, it’s perfect for the low-maintenance look paired with a simple lined and mascara-d eye.

The cute packaging ( I love the way you twist it up and down using the little dial in the centre of the base), comes with a little leaflet to give you some ideas to get the best use out of it, but as ever, it’s best to just play with it and see how it works best for you.

Oh, and it’ll be available from February 2013 for £23.50 – just in time for your new Spring look 🙂

What are your must-haves for pretty cheeks?
