Oral B 3D White Brilliance Toothpaste

I’m always promising myself that I’ll get my teeth professionally whitened, just to get that fresh smile look.  Obviously, not the extreme “Ross-from-Friends” whiteness that would have my friends running wildly for their sunglasses for fear of being blinded by my neon-white smile! No, I’m thinking a more natural-looking set of gnashers, that looks like I’ve never eaten anything but white food all my life.

And it seems I’m not the only one.  Apparently, a recent survey by the British Dental Health Foundation found that 87% of people would rather have a natural looking smile over a Hollywood-esque style one.  But the fact remains that a whiter, brighter smile can take years off a person’s perceived age.

So I’ve been trying out the latest whitening toothpaste from Oral B, 3D White.  It claims to work on every visible surface of the tooth, removing upto 80% of surface stains.  The “3D” technology gets to work from the very first time you start brushing, not just on the front and back of the teeth but also on the visible surfaces and gaps between the teeth.  The dual whitening action also works hard on preventing the stains from coming back.

I have to say, I’m loving the purple and lilac stripes running through it.  Call me shallow, call me easily pleased, but it completely matches my (current) toothbrush!

Teeth should be visibly whiter after two weeks.  I’m one week into the fortnight trial, and already I can see a difference, especially in photos.  Which just makes me want to continue using it.  I have to say I’m slightly worried that my already sensitive teeth are not getting my usual does of Sensodyne protection, but so far, so good.

It’s priced at only £3.49 and you can buy it from Boots.com (currently running a 3 for 2 on dental products as I write this), Superdrug.com and most chemists.

Crest is the American name of Oral-B (UK NAME), so they have not copied as they are the same company!
But only now we are getting it here in the UK.

I have used the Oral B 3D White for a month now and it has made no visible difference to the whiteness of my teeth at all. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Oh, what a shame! I honestly can see a difference, but perhaps because I’ve also stopped the coffee and tea?

As a child I neglected my teeth which has caused them to be sensitive and slightly weaker than before. As a smoker and a heavy tea, coffee and wine drinker, my teeth have become very stained like a pale banana colour. HUGE WAKE UP CALL!! As I’m 18 I wanted my teeth to be white again and was embarassed to smile. I was recomended this by friends. Well more than a week into the “2 week results” and iv noticed a massive difference. They’re not white yet obviously but so much of the in-your-face yellow has gone and my teeth are in a well better condition already. It may be dearer than other toothpastes I usually would buy but by God its worth it. Even my gran, 65 a chain smoker since 12/13 years old uses it and she even notices a difference, so does the whole family by God if it worked on her dark yellow nicoteine teeth (gross I know) then it’l work on anyone. VERY HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!

I highly recommend oral B 3 D whitening , an Oral B complete Care also whitens your teeth, if your a smoker you will definately notice a big difference as it does help remove cigarette stains, I noticed a big difference in only 5 days, im very happy and will stick with oral B products from now on. Plus theres lots of good deals in the supermarkets, I recently brought 2 tubes for £3 from asda and now the offer is £2 each, I don’t think that’s expensive when it does help alot, I can smile again without being conscious about cigarette stains 😀

If you want really white teeth try strips from Stella white for a week or two. The result will be really amazing and they are quite affordable at groupon. 🙂
