|Elemis Pro-Radiance Hand and Nail Cream|
The winter’s been playing havoc with moisture levels in my skin. My lips have been beyond chapped, although, thanks to lots of fabulous suggestions from all the lovely Tweethearts on Twitter, I seem to have got that under control. (I’ll write separate post on that later).
I’m hopeless at wearing gloves when I should, so the hands have been suffering of late too. So the new hand cream from Elemis has proved a godsend, restoring my hands to soft and lovely.
It’s no secret I’m a big fan of everything I’ve used by Elemis, including the Eye Serum, the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, the FreshSkin Deep Clean Mask, the Pro-Radiance Cleanser…. you get the picture. I loved the effects of the Pro-Radiance Cleanser so I had high hopes for the hands cream.
And I’m so pleased to say that it has lived up to all my expectations, and overshot them too.
It’s not actually available till next month, and will retail at £22 but I managed to pick it up in a TSV on QVC a little while ago, and I will definitely be buying again at full price once I run out. In fact, I’ll be keeping one in the car and one at home.
What makes this handcream stand out for me is that it is not greasy at all, which means I can get on with doing whatever it is I need to do, be it driving, typing, writing. My hands feel supersoft and moisturised and, well, kind of light and airy. The skin no longer feels tight, stretched nor parched. It almost feels like my hands have had a huge drink of water. And I have to say that my nails do feel stronger too.

And it’s no wonder; the ingredients include:
Avellana Seed Oil
Anti-ageing Omega 7
The effect is long-lasting, and so is the scent – a pleasant, floral fragrance that lingers for ages.

It’s a generous 100ml, so it’s not a size I’ll be toting around in my handbag, which I’m trying to downsize rather than bulk out. Hence keeping one in the car and one one the bedside table.
It’s from a range launched last Autumn called Spa@Home…. I’m pretty sure I’ll be writing about the rest of the range soon!
