Hands up if you have split ends! Ok, I can’t actually see past the sea of hands waving at me!
According to recent research, 90% of women have split ends to some degree or other. They are the bane of most women’s lives, making a recent haircut seem shabby all too soon.
TreSemme, purveyors of salon standard haircare products to the masses have developed a range of products that are directly targeted at this problem. I haven’t really tried TreSemme since it launched, but given that I’m trying desperately to work some magic back into my hair, (the first attempt at which you can read about here), I was keen to give this one a go.
There’s so much science behind it all which I don’t want to bore you with. Suffice to say, the magic ingredients seem to fuse your split ends together, so that with continued use, the hair looks healthier and less raggedy. And maybe even delay a trim for an extra fortnight.
I’ve been using the shampoo, conditioner and serum for a while now and I have to say, despite my initial skepticism (having always been told the only way to deal with split ends is to cut them off), I do think I can see a difference in my hair. It seems smoother, and less fly-away at the ends – a real bug-bear of mine.
I can’t face the flat-hair-look that the Brazilian Keratin treatment can sometimes leave you with, so for me, this is a happy alternative.
Has anyone else been using it? It’s been on shelves since September, so I’m sure that many of you will have given it a go.
I’d love to hear about your experience with the range.
