A corporate, black-tie event requires a polished, “done” look, without being overly made-up in my humble opinion, so this is what I was trying to achieve in the face below:

Daniel Sandler Rexturizing Face Primer SPF20
Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation SPF30
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Golden, applied with No 5 Hourglass brush
Hourglass Duo Visionnaire Palette in Suede
Two coats of No7 Extravagant Volume Mascara on top lashes, one coat on lower lashes
A little brown eyeshadow from the Neo-Classic Vol.6 palette by Hourglass flicked in with flat-ended Cream Eye Liner Brush by Smashbox
Chantecaille Blusher in Ecstasy
Hourglass Superficial Waterproof Bronzer in Mirage to contour
Sisley Lipstick in Sheet Cherry
No time to go for a blow dry, so a DIY job with my favourite gadget, BaByliss Big Hair – a separate blog post on this is WELL overdue!
What do you think? Yes? No?
I really need to get brave and film a Face of the Day whilst applying – I don’t have the guts to do it yet!
Any advice – send it my way!
