Now, I know I’m totally addicted to designer shoes, but  in a bid to spend less money, I’ve been trying to be a more canny shopper.

I just love these boots by Rupert Sanderson for everyday, priced at around £600:

But then someone showed me these from Clarks from the (actually quite) stylish Mary Portas range, priced at a much more modest £120:

So, if my maths is correct, that £240 for two pairs of boots that are very similar to the ones I could buy for £600, but I can get them in two different leathers – is that a no brainer?

Psst – they are currently reduced to £96 each on the House of Fraser website, so be quick!

I absolutely admire those boots! You should get them all!

I’ve got a pair very similar to the third pair from Zara – only £60!
