How cool to be a muse for a make-up brand? And not just any brand, but Nars, no less! While I continue to dream that one day my day will come, in the meantime, take a look at the new campaign for the Autumn range from Francois Nars. It features Daphne Guinness in a beautiful shot, with the most beautiful eye make-up I’ve seen in ages. Yes, it’s purple and yellow, and yes, in the hands of a lesser make-up artist, it might look a little too parrot-like for my liking, but this is just so sophisticated.
And this would look fabulous on Asian skin tones, especially after a summer holiday and a glowing tan on already brown skin.
The eyeshadow has been named after Daphne (Oh, to be a make-up muse!!!!) and the gorgeous yellow-green hue is called Mangrove.
Other news is that the New Yorkers amongst you may well be treated to a stand-alone Nars store – he’s planning to open one on Bleecker Street, next to the Marc Jacobs’ store. You lucky things.
