While there are always new colours and new products being launched every month (and sometimes it seems like it’s every week), it’s still lovely to rediscover brands, products and colours that have been favourites but undeservedly forgotten about.
A quick trip to my local Space NK for an appointment with Chantecaille’s make-up artist Paul was a timely reminder of a brand that I love and an opportunity to find a new daytime look for Indian skin tones that is vibrant without being over the top.
Of course I couldn’t walk away without buying a little (something or two!) and those two must-haves for the summer were Amaryllis Lip Chic and Ecstasy Cheek Shade. Both look scarily bright in the packaging, especially the blush, which took me a while to get used to, but once applied delicately onto my tanned Indian skin, they both brought my face to life, with a quick sweep of each.
And as an added bonus, I had a little tutorial on how to use the utterly delectable Les Dauphins palette which I had bought a little while back, but couldn’t bring myself to use as it is just so beautiful!
If your skin tone is similar to mine (I wear Banana in Chantecaille Future Skin foundation) then try these two colours to bring a little zing into your summer make-up.
